We're not interested in the character, only the costume, and the game it was made for. If your image did not have a game linked to it, it will be removed. And no [dendrite.] it's not ok, it does matter where the character comes from, and we want YOU to design the costume, not copy it from a How to Draw Manga book.

2005-05-18 [Lerune]: Yes, they normally count as NPS's but I do have a campaign addition here that allows them to be brought into gameplay, which rocks. ;o) Either way, they are game characters, I know we have encountered pixies, sprites and fairies in our adventures. And the costume has a lot of thought and detail, so I don't agree with [Duredhel] that it isn't a game costume. I already mentioned the entries I have issues with. :/

I agree with Dûredhel. It's not that we don't like to see all beautiful and detailed costume designs, but we set the "inspired by/designed for a game" rule as to have an specification for what costumes can actually be entered. Maybe later we can have other genres of the same designing contest, but this one, is dedicated to your inspirations and designs for a game character you have actually had experience playing with.

Nothing was mentioned about pre-played characters. If this is the case, the rules need to be clearer then. But don't mind me, I am taking this contest off watch. I obviously don't agree with everyone's interpretation of the rules, so I am of no help at all.
